Electronics Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test smart devices incorporating various sensors for data collection and analysis.
Proven expertise in microcontroller selection for embedded systems, including evaluation of performance specifications, peripherals, and compatibility with sensor integration.
Extensive experience in sensor selection, evaluating factors such as accuracy, precision, power consumption, and communication protocols to meet project requirements.
Proficiency in interfacing sensors with microcontrollers using standard communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN and UART.
Hands-on experience with PCB design and layout for sensor integration, utilizing software tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during product development, manufacturing, and post-production phases.
Stay current with emerging sensor technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in smart device design.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and wireless communication protocols.
Prepare detailed documentation for electronic designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and programming code.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; master s degree preferred.
4+ years of hands-on experience in electronics design, with a focus on developing smart devices.

Skills Expected:

Familiarity with wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Lora and Zigbee, and their integration with sensor networks.
Expertise in Power Electronics design and a strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.
Familiar with oscilloscope, function generator and spectrum analyzer.
Hands on experience on soldering SMD/SMT components (up to 0603 and QFN packages).
Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
Proficient in PCB fabrication processes, manufacturing constraints, and IPC standards for PCB design.
