Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage all permitting and licensing requirements across various jurisdictions.
- Prepare and submit permit applications, renewal documents, and supporting materials.
- Coordinate with government agencies and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and operational regulations related to permits and licenses.
- Maintain accurate records of all permits and licenses, including expiration dates and renewal processes.
- Advise internal teams on legal requirements and changes in regulations affecting permits and licensing.
- Support audit activities related to permitting and licensing.
- Develop strategies to expedite permits and mitigate risks associated with regulatory non-compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in permitting and licensing within energy, petroleum, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of local, regional, and international regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience liaising with government agencies and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance and health & safety regulations is a plus.
