Roles & Responsibilities
As an Engineering Coordinator at MGallery, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel s technical and maintenance functions. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for guest satisfaction will support the engineering team in creating a safe, efficient, and beautifully maintained environment that reflects our brand s promise of excellence and soulful experiences.
What You Will Be Doing
Coordinate daily engineering department activities, including scheduling, work orders, and task assignments.
Assist in tracking preventive maintenance programs across all areas of the hotel to ensure timely completion.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, asset inventories, safety checks, and compliance documentation.
Act as a communication hub between the engineering team, other departments, and external contractors.
Support the Engineering Manager by preparing reports, updating logs, and monitoring project timelines.
Follow up on guest room maintenance issues to ensure swift resolution and high guest satisfaction.
Help coordinate contractor visits, quotations, and service agreements, ensuring all work meets hotel standards.
Ensure all engineering files, permits, and technical documents are properly maintained and up to date.
Uphold MGallery s commitment to a safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing environment through proactive coordination and teamwork.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience in an engineering, maintenance, or administrative support role preferably within a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams and cross-departmental partners.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems, work-order software, or basic engineering processes is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting.
- A proactive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards.
