Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Execute buy and sell orders in global and regional equity markets.
Monitor real-time market data, news, and price trends to identify trading opportunities.
Conduct fundamental and technical analysis to support trade decisions.
Maintain and update trading logs, position books, and daily P&L reports.
Ensure trades are executed within risk and compliance parameters.
Work with the risk and compliance teams to adhere to trading policies.
Assist in portfolio strategy planning and diversification.
Track global economic and financial indicators affecting equities.
Liaise with brokers and counterparties for efficient trade execution and settlements.
Use trading platforms and tools (Bloomberg, Reuters, MetaTrader, etc.) effectively.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (CFA is a plus).
2 3 years of experience in UAE as an equity trader or in a similar capital markets role.
Proven track record in active equity trading with risk-adjusted returns.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software.
Understanding of equity markets, margin trading, and settlement procedures.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks in the UAE and globally.
Excellent decision-making skills under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing trading team.
