Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Review tender documents, technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications related to aluminium fabrication works.

  2. Analyze project scope, feasibility, and technical requirements for custom aluminium systems.

  3. Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, fabrication, labor, equipment, and installation.

  4. Develop pricing structures for aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, and finishing materials.

  5. Prepare, verify, and validate BOQs and detailed cost breakdowns.

  6. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.

  7. Prepare and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including tender documentation and project timelines.

  8. Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and submitted tenders.

  9. Collaborate with design, production, and project teams to ensure alignment of technical and cost aspects.

  10. Communicate with clients to clarify technical queries and revise estimates as required.

  11. Identify potential project risks such as cost escalation, material shortages, and design constraints.

  12. Propose value engineering solutions to optimize cost and improve efficiency.

  13. Continuously improve estimation processes and methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  2. 3–5 years of experience in aluminium estimation, preferably in façade systems and glazing works.

  3. Hands-on experience with estimation and design tools such as AutoCAD, Orgadata, EVA, or similar software.

  4. Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, profiles, glazing, and fabrication techniques.

  5. Understanding of machining processes, assembly, and installation practices.

  6. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

  7. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
