Estimation Engineer – Landscape


Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with proven experience in landscape construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and ensuring competitive and compliant project bids.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and pricing breakdowns based on engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs and assess material, labor, and equipment requirements for landscape works.

  • Develop comprehensive scope sheets and manage supplier/subcontractor inquiries, including obtaining quotations and conducting price negotiations.

  • Analyze and evaluate tender documents to identify risks, discrepancies, and opportunities, and collaborate with the Estimation Lead to mitigate potential issues.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to associate staff throughout the estimation and tendering process.

  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment of estimates with project scope and timelines.

  • Maintain updated cost databases and benchmarking information for future reference.

Desired Candidate Profile


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in estimating landscape construction projects.

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.

  • Solid experience in quantity take-off and familiarity with ERP systems.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
