Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Estimation
Identify the bid requirement both technical and commercial to prepare a compliant bid.
Conduct site visit when required and consider any cost to be added to the tender. Understand the program of work and its requirements.
Prepare and submit a request for information to the client / consultant to clarify any discrepancies.
Identify labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
Delegate draftsmen for quantity take off to cross-check the BOQ quantities and schedules.
Prepare and combine the cost estimate. Ensure the full scope is covered or proper qualification is included.
Attend pre / post tender meeting and capable to prepare a VE bid.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Estimation Manager.
Procurement
Prepare requests for quotations to the suppliers / sub-contractors to obtain quotations.
Compare and negotiate the suppliers’ quotes to select the most competitive quote to be used in the rate build up.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Estimation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Estimation from a recognized University preferred.
Passionate team player and driven to exceed results.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Bold personality, strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills preferred.
UAE BASED LANDSCAPING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
