Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of estimators and design engineers, fostering a collaborative environment to drive project success and individual growth.
  • Oversee the entire estimation process, from initial bid preparation to final project closeout, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Develop and implement robust estimation methodologies and tools, continuously improving efficiency and accuracy in cost forecasting and risk assessment.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a wide range of engineering projects.
  • Conduct value engineering and constructability reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project designs without compromising quality.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks related to cost, schedule, and performance, proactively addressing potential issues and developing contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and clients, to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market conditions to inform estimation practices and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present detailed bid proposals and cost reports to clients and internal stakeholders, clearly articulating project scope, costs, and potential risks.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors, negotiating favorable pricing and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
  • Boasts 10+ years of progressive experience in Fire Protection Projects.
  • Displays exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making and risk management.
  • Possesses strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and building collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and results-oriented approach, consistently striving for excellence and exceeding expectations.
  • Exhibits excellent negotiation and contract management skills, ensuring favorable terms and successful project outcomes.
  • Nationality preference: Arab Nationals prefer and also open to all nationalities, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English (written and spoken), essential for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
