The Estimator and Cost Controller is a critical role within any organization, responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and forecasting the financial requirements accurately. • Develop detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and industry standards.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine financial viability and risk factors.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project scope and cost implications.
• Prepare and present budget reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct cost analysis and assess the financial impact of project changes and delays.
• Maintain and update costing databases with the latest market pricing and labor costs.
• Ensure that all project budgeting activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on project expenditures to maintain alignment with approved budgets.
• Provide guidance on financial best practices and recommend cost management strategies.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions are made.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contractual agreements with vendors.

• Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in cost estimation and financial planning in a similar industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data sets effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
