Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Strategic Delivery Leadership
-
Direct the delivery of large-scale, multi-disciplinary technology and transformation programs across core banking, digital channels, payments, and regulatory domains.

Shape and manage project portfolios, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk appetite.

Oversee program planning, solution integration, and deployment strategies, balancing innovation with operational resilience.
2. Governance & Executive Reporting
-
Establish and lead program-level governance frameworks, ensuring transparency across project status, risks, dependencies, and financials.

Present portfolio health, KPIs, and value realization to executive steering committees and senior leadership.

Leverage data-driven insights (e.g., Power BI, Jira, Azure DevOps) to monitor progress and inform decision-making.

Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks, escalating issues as needed to protect business value and reputation.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

Build trusted relationships with C-suite, business leaders, regulators, and external partners.

Drive organizational change, ensuring stakeholder alignment, effective communication, and adoption of new solutions.

Champion enterprise capability-building and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Team Leadership & Talent Development

Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Support talent management, succession planning, and knowledge sharing across the PMO and delivery organization.
6. Value Creation & Thought Leadership
-
Identify and drive opportunities for digital enablement, process optimization, and product innovation within financial services.

Contribute to business development, proposal creation, and market-facing thought leadership.
Required Professional Experience
-
12+ years of experience managing large-scale technology, transformation, or systems implementation projects, with at least 5 years in the financial services sector.

Proven track record delivering complex programs (e.g., core banking upgrades, digital transformation, regulatory change) in consulting, system integration, or enterprise IT environments.

Experience managing multi-vendor, multi-country, or cross-functional delivery teams.
-
Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level and manage organizational change.
