About Madinat Jumeirah

About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for an Executive to join the Conference and Events team at Madinat Jumeirah Conference and Incentives.
The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Ensures that all activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah Quality Management System.
- Maintain a current knowledge of Jumeirah products and services in order to cross sell across the entire company.
- Continuously review procedures and processes within the department to achieve maximum profit, productivity, and efficiency.
- Continuously review product and branding to ensure we are selling creatively and offering more innovative edge over our competitors.
- To always maintain a high standard of personal appearance.
- To have complete understanding of hotel policies and procedures, particularly in relation to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in similar size of operation or smaller size of operation on a supervisory level
- Hotel and Hospitality Degree
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.)
- Advanced English spoken and writing
- Financial Awareness
