Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Export Lead Management & Conversion

  • Handle international enquiries received through websites, trade portals, exhibitions, and referrals

  • Qualify leads based on country, application requirement, order volume, and commercial feasibility

  • Convert qualified enquiries into RFQs, samples, product trials, and confirmed export orders.

  • Achieve assigned export sales targets and conversion metrics

2. International Customer Communication

  • Communicate with overseas customers through emails, calls, and virtual meetings

  • Understand customer technical specifications and commercial expectations

  • Present company's product capabilities, certifications, and export strengths

  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing international customers

3. Quotation Preparation & Order Closure

  • Coordinate with internal costing and technical teams to prepare export quotations

  • Share quotations including Incoterms, MOQ, pricing, lead times, and payment terms

  • Conduct continuous follow-ups to close orders and obtain purchase confirmations

  • Support negotiation discussions within defined commercial guidelines

4. Export Pipeline & Follow-Up Management

  • Maintain export enquiry tracking sheets and pipeline reports

  • Ensure timely response to customer queries, RFQs, and technical clarifications

  • Monitor lead ageing and implement follow-up strategies to improve conversion ratios

  • Maintain CRM or internal tracking tools for export enquiries

5. Order Handover & Coordination

  • Ensure commercial and technical details are clearly confirmed before order handover

  • Coordinate with documentation, logistics, and production teams for smooth order processing

  • Share complete order specifications to avoid shipment or documentation errors

6. Market Feedback & Reporting

  • Capture feedback on pricing trends, competitor offerings, and customer expectations

  • Share market intelligence with export sales and management teams

  • Prepare periodic reports on lead conversion, order value, and customer acquisition

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / Diploma (Engineering, Commerce, or Business preferred)

  • 1–4 years of experience in export sales, international inside sales, or B2B export operations

  • Experience in converting international leads into business orders is mandatory

  • Basic knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, and payment terms (TT / LC / Advance)

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, or ERP systems preferred
