Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Export Lead Management & Conversion
Handle international enquiries received through websites, trade portals, exhibitions, and referrals
Qualify leads based on country, application requirement, order volume, and commercial feasibility
Convert qualified enquiries into RFQs, samples, product trials, and confirmed export orders.
Achieve assigned export sales targets and conversion metrics
2. International Customer Communication
Communicate with overseas customers through emails, calls, and virtual meetings
Understand customer technical specifications and commercial expectations
Present company's product capabilities, certifications, and export strengths
Build strong relationships with prospective and existing international customers
3. Quotation Preparation & Order Closure
Coordinate with internal costing and technical teams to prepare export quotations
Share quotations including Incoterms, MOQ, pricing, lead times, and payment terms
Conduct continuous follow-ups to close orders and obtain purchase confirmations
Support negotiation discussions within defined commercial guidelines
4. Export Pipeline & Follow-Up Management
Maintain export enquiry tracking sheets and pipeline reports
Ensure timely response to customer queries, RFQs, and technical clarifications
Monitor lead ageing and implement follow-up strategies to improve conversion ratios
Maintain CRM or internal tracking tools for export enquiries
5. Order Handover & Coordination
Ensure commercial and technical details are clearly confirmed before order handover
Coordinate with documentation, logistics, and production teams for smooth order processing
Share complete order specifications to avoid shipment or documentation errors
6. Market Feedback & Reporting
Capture feedback on pricing trends, competitor offerings, and customer expectations
Share market intelligence with export sales and management teams
Prepare periodic reports on lead conversion, order value, and customer acquisition
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate / Diploma (Engineering, Commerce, or Business preferred)
1–4 years of experience in export sales, international inside sales, or B2B export operations
Experience in converting international leads into business orders is mandatory
Basic knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, and payment terms (TT / LC / Advance)
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, or ERP systems preferred
