Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Intern – Market & Quality (Banana Supply Chain)
Location: Damascus, Syria
Duration: 3 Months (Internship)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive intern to support on-ground operations by tracking banana quality across markets and benchmarking market prices. This role offers hands-on exposure to agri supply chains, market intelligence, and quality monitoring.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
Conduct regular banana quality checks across local markets and distribution points.
Collect and benchmark daily/weekly banana price data across key markets in Damascus.
Maintain structured reports for quality and price trends.
Coordinate with local vendors and partners for data collection.
Share insights on market trends, seasonality, and price fluctuations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate/Final-year student (Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Economics or related fields).
Comfortable with field work and local market visits.
Basic Excel/Google Sheets knowledge.
Strong observation and communication skills.
