Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Material Take off and Fabrication Drawings.
  • Collaborating with architects to translate conceptual façade designs into detailed plans that align with the building's aesthetic and functional goals.
  • Producing accurate technical drawings, including elevations, sections, and 3D models, using CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Identify and specify façade materials (glass, aluminum, stone, etc.) and associated components (cladding, windows, frames).
  • Specifying appropriate materials for the façade, such as glass, metal, and cladding, considering performance, cost, and appearance.
  • Ensuring the façade is structurally sound and integrates seamlessly with the building’s load-bearing systems, while accounting for environmental factors like wind loads and thermal insulation.
  • Ensuring the façade design meets local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards, including energy efficiency and environmental certifications.
  • Working closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders during the design and construction phases to ensure the façade is installed as planned, providing support for problem-solving and on-site inspections

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree (B-Tech / BE) holder in civil engineering / Mechanical/ Architectural field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD 2D/3D.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
