Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient education on fertility treatments, medications, and procedures, empowering patients to make informed decisions and manage their expectations effectively.
- Administer medications, including injections and oral medications, while meticulously monitoring patients for adverse reactions and ensuring proper dosage and timing.
- Coordinate and assist with fertility procedures such as IUI, egg retrievals, and embryo transfers, providing both technical support and emotional comfort to patients during these critical moments.
- Monitor patients' progress through regular blood draws, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests, accurately interpreting results and communicating findings to the medical team.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their partners, helping them navigate the emotional challenges of infertility and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Manage and maintain inventory of medical supplies and medications, ensuring all required resources are readily available.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in reproductive medicine by participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Holds a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in women's health or a related field, fertility clinic experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrates proficiency in performing venipuncture, administering medications, and assisting with fertility procedures.
- Exhibits exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and providing empathetic care to patients.
- Displays a strong understanding of reproductive endocrinology and infertility treatments.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Is detail-oriented and meticulous in maintaining accurate patient records.
- Demonstrates a commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Shows a genuine passion for helping individuals and couples achieve their dream of parenthood.
