Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The job contents include, but are not limited to, the following tasks for the SPV related to electricity transmission (the SPV) within the Green Hydrogen (gH2) Common Use Infrastructure (CUI):

Responsible for all treasury, cash management, banks relationship, investors relation, credit rating agencies, funding raising aspects of company and to provide leadership and support in those functions such as treasury and cash management, borrowing agreements management, etc. Also responsible for the timely procurement and application of funds at optimum costs and for maintaining healthy relationships with lenders. To ensure reporting of the information as required on time to various stakeholders as applicable.

Lead, manage and guide all activities of the company, relating to lending / financial institutions including loans, loans servicing, compliance, extension, closure, or payout. To work closely with the Nama Holding Treasury Team in the management of loans and act as a champion in the area of lenders management.

Carry out key analysis of internal business data, identifying trends and making business recommendations. Reviews market developments, changes in trends and future direction of regulation and legislation and identifies business options and the potential financial impact on the Company / the SPV of selection of various options.

The job responsibilities encompass the following tasks for the SPV related to electricity transmission (the SPV) within the Green Hydrogen (gH2) Common Use Infrastructure (CUI):

  • Oversee all operations within the Function and responsible for monitoring and managing the SPV s risks in line with OETC and the overall corporate strategy.
  • Identify and establish good and beneficial relationships with local banks and lenders for the benefits of the SPV in coordination with OETC finance team and Nama Holding Treasury Team.
  • Formulation of finance strategy in line with the OETC and overall group strategic focus areas.
  • Contribute and assist in the evaluation and decision-making on investment and funding alternatives in line with the overall business strategy.
  • Provide input and guidance in the management of surplus/deficit funds.
  • Manage financial risks exposure in accordance with the OETC and group policies and as per guidelines.
  • Monitor the cash flow related activities and make available the funds as needed and advise in the effective deployment of funds.
  • Evaluate and make decisions on investment and funding alternatives; mobilize the financial resources required to run the SPV; manage excess funds of the SPV; manage the SPV s risks exposure to ensure that the finances of the company are effectively managed.
  • Evaluate the funding requirements and assist in finalizing the funding options including the amounts, tenure, agency and other terms and conditions.
  • Carry out financial modelling to evaluate the various funding options and advise on the most suitable option.
  • Oversee cash flow planning, ensure availability of funds as needed and deployment of surplus funds.
  • Oversee financing strategies and activities as well as banking relationships in coordination with OETC and Nama Holding.
  • To gather and finalize the SPV s wide requirements of financing and incorporate the same in the overall finance strategy.
  • Contribute to target setting and provide input to measurement and evaluation of Corporate Finance function and lenders management team.
  • Assist in developing the business plans for the SPV in accordance with the OETC s overall strategic direction and assist in overall budgeting
  • Ensure implementation of the approved OETC and Group policies relating to sourcing of external funds and borrowing from financial institutions.
  • Preparation of business cases for borrowing of funds in coordination with OETC finance team and Nama Holding Treasury Team.
  • Adherence to the OETC and Group treasury policies.
  • Evaluate the funding requirements and assist in finalizing the funding options including the amount, tenure, agency and other terms and conditions.
  • Carry out financial modelling to evaluate the various funding options and advise on the most suitable option.
  • Support in the implementation of effective financial controls to support the overall corporate strategy and finance strategy.
  • Lead, manage and guide all activities of the company related to lending / financial institutions including loan servicing, compliance, extension, closure, or payout.
  • To work closely with OETC finance team and Nama Holding Treasury Team in the management of loans and act as a champion in the area of lenders management.
  • Monitor closely the funding requirements of the SPV and assist in aligning the requirements with the annual gH2 / OETC business plan.
  • Ensure adequate cash / funds availability in order to run day-to-day operation as per the business requirements.
  • To plan / coordinate with the relevant function(s) for the timely repayment of loan principal and bonds annual and simi-annual interest payments.
  • Maintaining good relationships with funding agencies / financial institutions.
  • Placement of surplus cash received from loans / bonds issuance / proceeds in Fixed Deposits after receiving competitive quotes from local banks.
  • Preparation of forecasted periodic rolling cash flow statements in order to monitor the liquidity position on timely manner.
  • Develop relationships with Lenders, financial institutions, and banks.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to mobilize the funds required, coordinate preparation of the documentation required by the institutions and banks to ensure that the SPV receives the required finances from institutions and banks on time.
  • Coordinate with credit rating agencies to ensure that the standalone credit rating of the SPV and/or OETC is maintained at a reasonable level.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree in Accounting / Finance &/p>

MBA, Professional certifications such as, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent are preferred.
