Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of Bank Accounts and immediately investigate unknown transactions.
  • Daily preparation of transactions for review before posting in the accounting records.
  • Timely deposit of all cash and cheques collected.
  • Daily posting of reviewed transactions.
  • Prepare clients invoices.
  • Daily update of Database: Receivables, Payables, commissions etc.
  • Follow up with clients on overdue invoices.
  • Prepare monthly Bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
  • Accrue vendors invoices and expenses in the correct month and send inquiries to vendors on any issue with their invoices.
  • Prepare payments for vendors invoices.
  • Promptly arrange for payroll instructions to be sent to bank within the timeline agreed with respective client.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Knowledge of auditing practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification & Experience:

  • A Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional Qualification in Accounting is an advantage.
  • English language required, Arabic or any other is an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum one year of professional accounting experience.
