Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage end-to-end finance operations, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and daily financial activities.

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE and KSA regulations, including VAT, IFRS standards, and internal company policies.

  • Own and drive month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.

  • Establish, enhance, and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks to safeguard company assets.

  • Actively manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, supporting treasury functions and optimizing financial health.

  • Oversee financial operations in a trading environment, including inventory accounting, cost control, and margin analysis.

  • Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing actionable insights for business decisions.

  • Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives across the organization.

  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA / ACCA / CMA preferred).

  • Arabic fluency (mandatory) – must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across UAE/KSA.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably within a trading or distribution environment.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and regional compliance frameworks (UAE/KSA).

  • Proven experience in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance financial reporting and operational execution.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
