Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess the financial health of the organization.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, helping to ensure that financial goals are met, and tracking budget variances.

Market Research: Analyzing economic and market trends in Kuwait and the broader region to provide recommendations for investment and business strategies.

Investment Analysis: Evaluating potential investment opportunities, including stocks, bonds, real estate, or other assets, and providing recommendations on their viability.

Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing financial risks, such as currency exchange rate fluctuations, interest rate changes, and geopolitical factors, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

Financial Modeling: Creating financial models and scenarios to simulate various financial outcomes and help with strategic planning.

Performance Metrics: Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the financial performance of the organization.

Cost Analysis: Analyzing costs and expenses to identify areas where cost savings and efficiency improvements can be made.

Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.

Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards, including those specific to Kuwait.

Taxation: Assisting with tax planning and compliance, including knowledge of tax laws.

Communication: Collaborating with other departments within the organization, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • CA s with 5+ years of similar experience. GCC Experience is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Understanding of the local and global economic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
