Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and conduct preliminary economic feasibility studies for proposed strategic projects and initiatives within the Exchange s development plan.
• Analyze financial and operational data to measure the performance of ongoing initiatives and compare outcomes against planned targets.
• Prepare macroeconomic analyses related to capital markets, including assessing the impact of interest rates, inflation, and global capital flows.
• Conduct micro level market analysis to study trading patterns, liquidity trends, investor behavior, and performance across market sectors.
• Prepare scenario analyses and cost benefit assessments to support decision making on strategic initiatives.
• Provide the necessary financial analyses to support the introduction of new financial products and investment instruments in the market.
• Monitor and analyze macroeconomic and microeconomic trends affecting capital markets, including price volatility, interest rate movements, and inflation factors.
• Track and evaluate investor behavior and foreign and domestic liquidity flows to identify patterns impacting market activity.
• Conduct benchmarking studies with regional and global exchanges to identify gaps and improvement opportunities in services and product offerings.
• Prepare periodic (monthly/quarterly) forward looking market reports analyzing trends and projecting future market conditions.
• Identify and highlight investment opportunities and potential risks, assessing their implications on the Exchange s strategic direction.
• Assist in collecting data for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the strategic plan and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop evidence based technical recommendations to support innovation and business development initiatives.
• Participate in project teams responsible for implementing strategic initiatives by providing required analytical insights and data.
• Contribute to reviewing market related policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best financial practices.
• Report risks and relevant incidents within the department to the Risk Department.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Director of the Department.
