Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Flux preparation, fusion, cupellation, bead handling, and dore processing (as applicable).

  • Batch setup, documentation, QA/QC insertion, and batch closeout.

  • Operate and maintain furnaces and associated equipment; follow heat safety procedures.

  • Control cross-contamination and ensure traceability from sample to result.

  • Support gravimetric finish or prepare solutions for instrumental finish (if used).

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma/technical certificate preferred.

  • 3–7+ years fire assay experience (mining lab).

  • Strong safety awareness for high-temperature operations and chemicals.
