Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and national standards to safeguard lives and property.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments and fire hazard analyses to identify potential threats and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors during the design and construction phases to integrate fire safety measures seamlessly.
  • Perform inspections and evaluations of existing fire protection systems, providing expert recommendations for upgrades or replacements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred to validate technical competency.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating practical application of fire protection principles.
  • Familiarity with NFPA codes, local building codes, and fire safety regulations is crucial for compliance and safety assurance.
