Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate and effective first aid treatment to injured or ill individuals, ensuring their safety and well-being in critical situations.
  • Assess the nature and severity of injuries or illnesses, making accurate diagnoses to determine appropriate treatment and prioritize care.
  • Maintain a fully stocked and readily accessible first aid kit, ensuring all supplies are up-to-date, organized, and in proper working order.
  • Administer first aid procedures, including CPR, bandaging, splinting, and wound care, adhering to established protocols and best practices.
  • Coordinate emergency medical services (EMS) when necessary, providing clear and concise information to paramedics and assisting with patient transfer.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the workplace or event venue to identify potential hazards and proactively mitigate risks, promoting a safe environment.
  • Educate and train staff or participants on basic first aid techniques and emergency procedures, empowering them to respond effectively in emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents, treatments provided, and supplies used, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest first aid techniques and advancements in medical care.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to injured or ill individuals, creating a calming and supportive environment during stressful situations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a valid First Aid certification from a recognized institution, demonstrating foundational knowledge and practical skills.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 1 year of experience in a first aid or related role, showcasing practical application of skills in real-world scenarios.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise interaction with individuals and emergency services.
