Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.comDo what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo!#BELIMITLESSOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.What s In It For YouEmployee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide.Learning programs through our Academies.Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21Job DescriptionTo ensure that Maintenance Gymnasium equipment forms are up to date and implement preventative maintenance programs if necessary.To be fully aware of current and future services offered by the hotel and to make suggestions for improvement, expansion or creation of new services.To remain up to date with local and international trends in the health and leisure services through internet, magazines and other applicable media.To manage the fitness centre retail area, inclusive of stock control, inventory and salesTo manage the fitness centre and sports facilities, inclusive of other outdoor and indoor leisure programs.To ensure high standards of cleanliness in the department To develop and implement personalized exercise programmes for guests who request private sessions and for those who would benefit from personal instruction.To provide one-to-one Personal Training when required.To provide Fitness Consultations for arriving guests.To assist guests with retail purchases where required.To cover Gymnasium Reception and retail areas when requiredTo handle any guest complaints and refer to the Supervisor or Manager where necessary.To provide regular follow up contact for guests and monitor progress of any recommended fitness programs throughout their stay.To ensure that proper policies and procedures are followed in regards to monitoring the health and wellbeing of guests participating in classes and using the gym/sports facilities, inclusive of administering medical questionnaires.QualificationsCertified Personal Trainer certification Minimum 2 years of experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainerBachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field (preferred)Proficiency in various fitness equipment and exercise techniquesStrong knowledge of nutrition and wellness principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to create and adapt personalized workout plansFirst Aid and CPR certification is a plusEnthusiasm for motivating and supporting clients to achieve their fitness goalsWillingness to work in a luxury resort setting Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysKnowledge for Kangoo Jump, Trampoline Jump, Aqua JumpAqua Classes with basic knowledge of Aqua ClassesAdditional InformationYour Team And Working EnvironmentRixos Premium Saadiyat Island is a unique resort; where exclusivity and luxury define every experience, every time.
