Position Overview
voco Hotels is seeking a Food and Beverage and Kitchen Coordinator to act as the primary liaison between the service and culinary teams, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest experiences, and adherence to brand standards. This role involves coordinating menus, events, inventory, and staff support to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining a high standard of service and compliance.

Core Duties

* Act as the central point of contact between the F and B service team and the kitchen, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration
* Work with culinary teams to develop and update menus in line with guest preferences and dietary needs
* Coordinate food and beverage service for events, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
* Oversee inventory management for food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and timely replenishment
* Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality products
* Support and supervise staff during service, addressing operational issues and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
* Conduct regular inspections of both service and kitchen areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
* Assist with budget monitoring for both departments, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Engage with guests to gather feedback, ensuring any service issues are promptly resolved in collaboration with the relevant teams

Candidate Requirements

* Strong knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house hospitality operations
* Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
* Experience managing inventory and vendor relationships in a hospitality setting
* Previous experience in a similar role with exposure to both service and kitchen functions preferred
* Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred
* 1 2 years of secretarial or administrative experience, ideally in hospitality
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong attention to detail
* Professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset
