Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to marketing initiatives by providing insights and recommendations to enhance the food and beverage offerings and attract new customers.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations by researching new products, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve service offerings.
  • Handle cash and payment transactions accurately, efficiently, and responsibly, managing all financial aspects of the food and beverage service.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate food and beverage pairings, creating menu synergy and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant environment for both staff and guests.
  • Train and mentor the food and beverage team, imparting product knowledge, service standards, and operational procedures to foster a high-performing team.
  • Oversee all aspects of food and beverage service, ensuring seamless operations, from table setup to order delivery, to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Provide stellar customer service by attentively addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and creating memorable dining experiences that keep them coming back.
  • Manage inventory meticulously, from stock ordering to waste reduction, to optimize profitability and minimize losses within the food and beverage operation.
  • Master the art of crafting exceptional cocktails and beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation that wows every guest.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus, showcasing a foundational understanding of the industry.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as a Food Handler's permit and a certification in responsible alcohol service, demonstrating a commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment, providing a solid foundation for managing fast-paced operations.
  • Demonstrates fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with guests and staff.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for exceeding guest expectations and creating positive experiences.
  • Displays strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, train, and manage a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
