Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Regulatory and FSMS Compliance:
Coordinate implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the FSSC 22000 FSMS (ISO 22000 + PRPs + additional FSSC requirements).
Maintain document control for FSMS procedures, work instructions, forms, records, and retention systems.
Support management of change and ensure food safety impacts are assessed and documented for changes in process, equipment, materials, layout, or suppliers.
· Prepare inputs for food safety team meetings and support management review data compilation (KPIs, issues, trends).
Documentation:
Maintain and update food safety management system documentation in accordance with applicable standards (HACCP/ISO 22000/FSSC22000/BRCGS, etc.
Prepare detailed reports on food safety performance, audit findings, and corrective actions for management review. Timely submission of monthly Audit reports.
Training & Food Safety Culture
Provide Food Safety & GMP induction training to all new employees, visitors and contractors.
Provide internal Food Safety & GMP training to the food handlers and assess the effectiveness of training.
Maintain training matrix, records, and competency checks for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Support initiatives that strengthen food safety culture on the shop floor. 100% completion as per schedule.
No of planned sessions vs actual sessions (Food Safety Trainings) External & Internal.
Internal Audit & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate the internal audit program aligned to FSSC 22000; schedule audits, conduct audits as assigned, and track actions to closure.
Support certification audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections: preparation, evidence gathering, closing meeting actions, and follow-up.
Lead/participate in investigations for food safety nonconformities; support root cause analysis and implement CAPA with effectiveness verification.
Foreign body control (sieves/filters, magnets, metal detector/X-ray if applicable)
Glass & brittle plastic program inspections
Other duties as assigned 100% completion of sites location Audit. (schedule vs Actual)
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification / Certification - Degree in Chemistry /Microbiology or food related discipline.
Experience - Total year of experience 3.
Technical Skills
Technical know-how experience in a food safety or quality assurance role.
Knowledge about Food Safety Management System (HACCP/ISO 22000/FSSC22000/BRCGS, etc.)
Worked in ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 or BRCGS-certified food manufacturing site.
