Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Guest Relations
  • Greet all guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival at the lobby or jetty.

  • Escort guests during boat transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.

  • Provide refreshments, towels, and information about the resort during arrival and departure experiences.

  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes in coordination with Front Office.

  • Handle guest inquiries promptly and ensure all special requests are communicated to relevant departments.

  • Maintain a strong presence in the lobby and jetty to assist guests at all times.

Boat Operations Support
  • Coordinate with the boat captain and transportation team for smooth arrivals and departures.

  • Ensure guest luggage is properly handled and transferred.

  • Maintain safety standards during all boat transfers and ensure guests are briefed about safety procedures.

Communication & Coordination
  • Liaise with Front Office, Concierge, and other departments to ensure guest expectations are met.

  • Keep updated on daily arrival and departure schedules.

  • Report any guest feedback, incidents, or service gaps to the Guest Experience Manager.

Presentation & Standards

  • Maintain high grooming standards and a polished appearance at all times.

  • Ensure the lobby and jetty area remain tidy, welcoming, and presentable.

  • Uphold the brand image and service culture of the resort.

  • Previous experience as a hostess, guest relations agent, or similar role in a luxury resort or island hotel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Strong sense of hospitality, guest care, and attention to detail.

  • Confident, friendly, and professional appearance.

  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle boat transfers safely.

  • Comfortable working outdoors, on boats, and in tropical weather conditions.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
