Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Break exclusive stories on artificial intelligence initiatives, digital infrastructure investments, and large-scale technology deployments across the GCC.
- Produce in-depth features, executive interviews, and sector analysis covering AI, data centers, fin-tech, venture capital, robotics, and emerging technologies.
- Cover sovereign wealth fund allocations into technology, venture capital, digital infrastructure, and strategic innovation sectors.
- Track regulatory developments, AI governance frameworks, national digital strategies, and cross-border technology partnerships.
- Deliver forward-looking insight into the region s technology competitiveness, digital transformation agendas, and global positioning.
- Contribute to recurring sector briefings, special reports, and vertical newsletters.
- Collaborate with video and podcast teams to extend reporting into multimedia formats where relevant.
Requirements:
- Proven experience covering technology, venture capital, digital infrastructure, or sovereign wealth funds at a reputable business publication.
- Strong understanding of AI ecosystems, emerging technologies, and regional innovation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to produce authoritative, well-sourced journalism that resonates with executive and institutional audiences.
- Ability to translate complex technical, regulatory, and investment developments into clear, compelling analysis.
- Strong source-building skills across founders, investors, policymakers, and senior technology executives.
- Comfortable contributing to multimedia formats, including on-camera interviews or executive briefings where required.
