Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Reception Coordinator to manage front desk operations and support a high-energy leisure facility. This role is ideal for candidates with strong people skills who are seeking leadership exposure, and long-term stability in a dynamic work environment.


Reception & Front Desk Operations

Manage daily front desk activities including customer check-in, bookings, payments, and inquiries.

  • Ensure reception operations run smoothly, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Coordinate shift handovers and ensure accurate communication between teams.

Customer Service & Guest Experience

  • Provide friendly, professional, and confident service to all customers.
  • Clearly explain facility rules, safety requirements, and services.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns calmly and professionally.
  • Build strong rapport with guests and encourage repeat visits.

Team Coordination & Support

  • Support and guide reception staff during shifts.
  • Assist with training new team members on customer service standards and systems.
  • Lead by example, promoting teamwork, discipline, and professionalism.

Sales & Revenue Support

  • Actively promote services, packages, memberships, and special offers.
  • Upsell and cross-sell in a natural, customer-friendly way.
  • Support marketing campaigns by engaging customers at reception.

Administration & Reporting

  • Handle cash, POS systems, bookings, and daily reports accurately.
  • Maintain customer records and follow company procedures.
  • Communicate feedback and operational issues to management.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Operations Manager

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, reception management, hospitality, leisure, or entertainment.
  • Experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments is highly preferred.

Availability

  • Willing to work shift-based schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
