Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies, ensuring a robust and maintainable codebase.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to create seamless user experiences while adhering to best design practices and accessibility standards.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Integrate APIs and third-party services effectively, ensuring data flow and system interoperability across multiple platforms.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, showcasing a solid academic foundation.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, combined with back-end expertise in Node.js, Python, or Java.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and MongoDB, showcasing versatility in data management.
Technical
Ideally full stack (but if not Backend is the priority and we will get a separate FE for odd bits and pieces)
Java, Cloud (probably AWS),
Ideally worked on data projects before - or at least has a good understanding of plumbing orchestrating calls to, Lambda Python services etc
Attitude
Self-starter
Not a tell me what to do, but who proactively challenges and suggests and builds
Almost a mini engineering manager style person to colour in/ challenge the architecture high level
