Our client is seeking a skilled Fund Operations and Compliance Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is critical in managing day-to-day fund operations and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards within the fast-paced digital asset investment space.

Responsibilities

• Fund Operations Management

  • Establish and manage day-to-day fund operations, including trade reconciliation and settlement.

• Compliance Development

  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation to uphold regulatory standards.

• Coordination with Stakeholders

  • Coordinate with prime brokers, custodians, and administrators to ensure seamless operational workflows.

• Trading Compliance Monitoring

  • Monitor trading activity to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Investor Relations and Onboarding

  • Manage investor onboarding processes, including KYC/AML checks and handling subscription documents.

• Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare regulatory filings and maintain a compliance calendar to meet critical deadlines.

• Audit and Record-Keeping Support

  • Support audit processes and maintain accurate books and records for transparency and accountability.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in hedge fund operations or compliance, preferably within digital asset or crypto markets.
• Strong understanding of SEC, CFTC, and NFA regulations.
• Experience with fund administration and prime brokerage relationships.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with portfolio management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
