Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Conduct petty cash, bank, inventory, supplier, and customer reconciliations with accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in Tally ERP and assist in financial reporting.
  • Maintain proper documentation of import purchases, supplier invoices, and payment schedules.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support audits and tax filings as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Qualified or semi-qualified professional certifications (CA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, working as a Senior Accountant in a supervisor role. Strong understanding of accounting functions, process cycles, and financial controls.
  • Excellent Understanding/Technical expertise in accounting software Tally ERP.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying financial risk areas and proposing improvements.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and Tax regulations is a plus.
  • Must be willing to relocate if residing outside Dubai or far from the Jebel Ali area.
  • Should be available to join immediately.
