General Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a crew of construction workers, including carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and laborers
• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and blueprints
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety regulations
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any delays or obstacles
• Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project progress
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and workers
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports
• Order and manage construction materials and equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Foreman or similar role in the construction industry
• Proven experience in leading and motivating construction crews
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Construction certifications a plus
• Experience working in Dubai, UAE a plus
• Fluency in Arabic
