Black & Grey HR is partnering with a premier hospital in Dubai to recruit an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead operations, drive expansion, and position the hospital for long-term success. This role presents an exclusive opportunity for a seasoned General Manager, CEO, or a COO with strong business acumen to take charge of a well-established healthcare institution. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing and scaling family-owned hospitals in the UAE or GCC region, optimizing operational efficiency, and implementing growth strategies that enhance patient care and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap for hospital expansion, franchise opportunities, and operational excellence.
• Hospital Operations: Oversee daily management, ensuring seamless service delivery, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of patient care.
• Financial Stewardship: Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost optimization, and P&L management.
• Expansion & Market Positioning: Identify and execute strategies to scale the hospital s presence in the UAE and beyond.
• Stakeholder & Investor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare authorities, investors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Innovation & Modernization: Implement advanced technologies and industry best practices to enhance healthcare services and maintain a competitive edge.
• Leadership & Culture: Lead and mentor a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of executive leadership experience in the Ophthalmology sector, with a focus on hospital operations and strategic expansion.
• A proven ability to manage and scale family-owned, mid-size, or boutique eye hospitals within the UAE or GCC.
• Strong financial and operational management expertise, including hands-on experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the healthcare sector.
• A deep understanding of healthcare transformation, patient-centered care models, and operational excellence.
