Roles & Responsibilities
- Precisely measure and score glass sheets, ensuring accuracy for each cut to minimize waste and maintain project integrity.
- Expertly cut glass according to blueprints, specifications, or customer requests, using various hand tools and automated equipment.
- Carefully break glass along scored lines, applying appropriate pressure and technique to achieve clean, precise separations.
- Grind and finish glass edges, removing sharp edges and imperfections to create a safe and aesthetically pleasing product.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Completion of a vocational training program or apprenticeship in glass cutting, providing specialized knowledge.
- Relevant certifications in glass cutting techniques and safety standards, showcasing industry recognition.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a glass cutting environment, displaying practical expertise.
