Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Framework Development & Advisory
    • Design, review, and refine licensing and supervision fee models.
    • Develop methodologies for fee calculation, including risk-based and proportional approaches.
    • Conduct fee impact analyses, financial forecasting, and benchmarking against peer jurisdictions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Industry Consultation
    • Lead consultations with financial institutions and other industry participants.
    • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into framework design to ensure balance, fairness, and practicality.
  • Regulatory Rollout & Implementation
    • Develop strategies for effective rollout and change management.
    • Support regulatory mapping, impact assessments, industry notifications, and compliance timelines.
    • Advise on phased implementation and internal supervisory readiness.
  • International Standards & Benchmarking
    • Ensure alignment with global standards (Basel, FATF, IMF, etc.).
    • Provide insights on international best practices from mature supervisory jurisdictions.
    • Lead benchmarking exercises to compare fee models and supervisory approaches internationally.
  • Strategic Advisory
    • Recommend long-term enhancements to ensure sustainability of fee structures.
    • Advise on emerging trends, financial innovation, and the impact of new technologies on supervision.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking a seasoned Global Expert in Licensing & Supervision Frameworks to provide high-level advisory support on the design, development, and implementation of a robust licensing and supervision fee framework. The role will focus on aligning with international best practices, ensuring compliance with global standards, and engaging with industry stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with or advising leading regulators or supervisory authorities, and bring a deep understanding of fee model design, regulatory benchmarking, and global supervisory practices.
