ABOUT THE TEAM

The Global Commercial Finance Field Business Support organization partners closely with Sales and Ecosystem Managers to ensure that transactions are structured in the most commercially beneficial way for SAP, while abiding by SAPs internal policies and IFRS accounting rules.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Cloud Field Business (Sales) Support Associate , you will own and execute the end-to-end deal operations process for designated Partner Driven Cloud deal motions at SAP. You will be part of globally acting Field Business Support team, a central deal support organization that partners closely with SAP Territory Ecosystem Managers, Account Executives and involved stakeholders.

Acting as a trusted operational partner, you will support, manage, and process sales quotations within the SAP CRM/Harmony system, guiding deals through the complete quote-to-booking lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of deals.

Working collaboratively with Sales colleagues, your team and other supporting functions, you will directly support revenue growth and profitability, as you process sales opportunities for both existing and net-new customers while helping the field colleagues achieve defined order and performance targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute the end-to-end deal quotation process for selected Partner Driven Cloud deal motions based on defined complexity and thresholds.
  • Process and manage customer inquiries related to deal offerings, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required system inputs (e.g. Harmony quotations).
  • Collaborate closely with Global Commercial Finance colleagues, particularly with Commercial Business Partners, to support deal structuring, and adherence to commercial policies.
  • Partner closely with Territory Ecosystem Managers / Sales Executives and liaise between other cross-functional teams, such as Cloud Operations, Cloud Architects/Delivery, Legal, etc. to support the sales process and enable deal closure.
  • Ensure full compliance with SAP operational procedures and requirements, maintaining accurate and audit ready records and documentation.
  • Provide ad-hoc hands-on support during quarter-end and year-end close, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete execution of sales deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate must be amenable to working fixed afternoon shift (Monday Friday, 14:00 22:00 CET) as required by customer and regional needs.

Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Experience working in a Sales Operations or Deal Support capacity (preferred)

Strong background in sales processes, quote-to-cash process & deal execution (preferred)

Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems independently.

Highly detailed-oriented, well-organized, with great communication skills (both verbal and written)

Experience working in a cross-country and cross cultural environment working environment (preferred)

Experience in MS Office, especially Excel

Experience with Sales and deal-support tools

Flexibility to work varied business hours to ensure full Field Business Support coverage, particularly during quarter- and year-end close periods.

Very good English language skills are mandatory; additional foreign languages are a strong plus.
