About the Role
As a Graduate Trainee Techno-Commercial Analysis Specialist, you will support the early architecture phase of new venture development. You will contribute to research, customer discovery, validation activities, and prototyping to help shape high-potential concepts within du s innovation pipeline.
This role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about innovation, design thinking, startup environments, and transforming ideas into tangible prototypes.
What You ll Learn & Do
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify opportunity spaces for new ventures.
- Support the development of problem statements, user journeys, and value propositions using ERS Foundry frameworks.
- Participate in customer interviews and assist in synthesizing insights to validate assumptions.
- Build low- to mid-fidelity prototypes (e.g., mockups, clickable screens, wireframes, process flows).
- Collaborate with the Venture Lead and Venture Architect to prepare materials for internal stage-gate reviews.
- Support the design and execution of early experiments, data gathering, and validation summaries.
- Prepare structured documentation such as venture cards, insight reports, and prototype specifications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across du s Innovation Center to coordinate access, assets, and required resources.
- Ensure all prototypes, research, and documentation follow ERS Foundry standards, templates, and methodologies.
- Contribute to maintaining venture pipeline databases, insight repositories, and research logs.

Desired Candidate Profile
Recent UAE National graduate with a degree in: br>Business, Innovation, Design, Engineering, Computer Science, Product Development, or a related field.br>Coursework or certifications in design thinking, product design, or innovation are a plus.
You should also demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Ability to create simple prototypes (wireframes, mockups, click models).
- Clear documentation and insight-synthesis skills.
- Ability to support customer interviews and communicate ideas effectively.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Miro, Canva, Notion, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Curiosity, creativity, and comfort working in a fast-moving, experimental environment.
