Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Design and animate 2D motion graphics for video segments, including lower thirds, intros, transitions, charts, and data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and reporters to ensure visual elements align with editorial goals and branding.
  • Work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment, ensuring graphics are delivered quickly and accurately.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate fresh, innovative ideas into daily production.
  • Assist with creating graphics for online content, social media platforms, and other multimedia projects.
  • Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Ability to create dynamic, clean, and professional designs under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in graphic design, animation, multimedia, or a related field preferred.

  • 2 4 years of experience in 2D motion graphics design, preferably in a news or broadcast setting.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of motion graphics work, especially in a fast-paced, live broadcast or news environment.
