Group Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.

Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local statutory requirements in each jurisdiction.

Manage group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and minority interests.

Provide variance analysis of financial results against budget, forecast, and prior year.

Accounting Operations

Supervise day-to-day accounting operations across the group s entities.

Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and closing activities.

Monitor accounts payable, receivable, inventory, and fixed asset accounting.

Audit & Compliance

Lead external and internal audit processes across the group.

Ensure timely filing of statutory reports and tax submissions.

Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

Management & Leadership

Manage and mentor accounting teams across subsidiaries.

Provide training and guidance to ensure standardization of practices.

Collaborate with the Group CFO and other senior management on strategic initiatives.

Process Improvement & Systems

Implement best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of reporting.

Support ERP/financial systems implementation and automation projects.

Develop dashboards and reporting tools for management.
