Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee group-wide trading and operational functions across multiple B2B commodity verticals.
  • Ensure alignment between trading strategy, execution, and operational efficiency across all entities.
  • Manage and build teams across trading, operations, and support functions at a group level.
  • Drive performance across businesses, with focus on volumes, margins, and profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, brokers, and international partners.
  • Monitor global markets, pricing trends, and risks to guide business decisions.
  • Develop and implement business plans, operating frameworks, and growth strategies across verticals.
  • Work closely with leadership on new initiatives, expansion plans, and cross-business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contracts, and quality standards across all operations.
  • Bring a hands-on approach to solving operational challenges while maintaining a strategic view.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in B2B commodities trading (non-consumer / non-retail).
  • Ability to operate across multiple business functions and verticals with a holistic view.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams across trading and operations.
  • Deep understanding of global trade flows, supply chains, and market dynamics.
  • Strong commercial acumen with sound judgment and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE business and regulatory landscape.
  • Demonstrated progression from trading roles to leadership positions managing teams and operations.
  • Prior experience working in the UAE (mandatory).
  • Strong academic background with a reputable institutional pedigree.
