Bring Italy to life in every dish.

Sette, located within JA The Resort, is seeking a visionary Head Chef with strong expertise in authentic Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bold flavors, regional traditions, and proven experience leading high-performing kitchen teams.

This role is responsible for leading the culinary direction, managing kitchen operations, and delivering exceptional dining experiences aligned with Sette’s Italian concept.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall kitchen operation and culinary strategy in line with the restaurant concept

Develop, refine, and execute authentic Italian menus with seasonal creativity

Create and implement a pizza menu reflecting traditional techniques and innovation

Oversee food preparation, quality, presentation, and consistency

Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, and waste control

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards

Leadership Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team

Provide training, coaching, and performance support

Plan schedules and manage team responsibilities

Maintain a positive, professional, and high-performance culture

Candidate Requirements

Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, including pasta, sauces, pizza, meats, seafood, and desserts

Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a senior kitchen leadership role (Head Chef or similar)

Proven ability to manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Passion for quality, consistency, and guest experience

Preferred Qualifications

Culinary diploma or formal training

Italian nationality preferred

Experience in Italian restaurants, trattorias, or upscale hospitality environments

Expertise in handmade pasta and pizza production

Experience

Minimum 4–5 years in a similar senior culinary leadership role

Cuisine Expertise

Strong knowledge of Italian regional cuisine, ingredients, and techniques
