Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression and setting the tone for their dining experience.
  • Oversee and manage the entire hostess team, ensuring seamless guest flow and exceptional service delivery.
  • Train and mentor new hostesses, providing guidance on service standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, minimizing wait times and maximizing table turnover.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Manage the guest waiting list effectively, providing accurate wait times and keeping guests informed of their status.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possesses relevant hospitality certificates or diplomas.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Possesses a professional demeanour, with a polished appearance and excellent grooming standards.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 20 pounds.
