Roles & Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
The Head of Business Operations will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, operations, and business performance of the company’s vehicle service centers and petrol pumps. The role demands a strong business leader with proven expertise in automotive services, fuel retail, and multi-site operations, capable of driving profitability, operational excellence, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the overall business strategy for service centers and petrol pumps.
- Drive business growth through new initiatives, service expansion, and market positioning.
- Ensure alignment of operational goals with the company’s vision and long-term objectives.
Business & Financial Management
- Full P&L responsibility for the division, including revenue, profitability, and cost optimization.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor key financial metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations across all service centers and fuel stations.
- Ensure high standards of service quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and technology-driven solutions.
People & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a large team of managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Establish performance metrics and accountability at all levels.
- Promote a strong culture of customer focus, safety, and teamwork.
Customer & Market Focus
- Ensure excellent customer experience at service centers and petrol pumps.
- Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of competition and identify new opportunities.
- Develop partnerships and business development initiatives.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to HSE standards across all sites.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments regularly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10–20 years of progressive experience in automotive service center operations and/or fuel retail management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/Head of Operations / General Manager role.
- Strong track record in P&L management, business growth, and operational leadership.
- Deep knowledge of automotive aftermarket, fuel retail, and related industries.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
