Head of Early Years - Native Speaking SOIL LLC

Key Duties and Responsibilities Learning and Teaching Develop, review, and implement the Early Years curriculum, policies, and initiatives. Lead and oversee Early Years planning in alignment with curriculum expectations. Collaborate with the Lower School Director of Studies and other leadership team members to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate the School Improvement Plan as it relates to Early Years. Brief and update colleagues on relevant policies, practices, and initiatives through meetings and workshops. Identify training needs of staff, provide professional development opportunities, and facilitate peer learning. Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning in Early Years by reviewing learning environments, planning, and conducting lesson observations and student interactions. Assess Lower School Early Years achievement standards and liaise with the Head or Deputy Head of Lower School to address curriculum development needs. Enrich the curriculum through educational visits, guest speakers, and experiential learning opportunities. Maintaining the Profile of Early Years Act as a role model in planning and delivering high-quality Early Years teaching. Ensure that Lower School Early Years classrooms and sports areas reflect high expectations in both learning and behavior. Lead parent workshops and informational sessions as needed. Promote Early Years through displays, competitions, events, extracurricular activities, House events, and sports fixtures.
