Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and implementation of a dynamic English curriculum, fostering a love of language and literature.
- Lead and mentor a team of English teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching quality.
- Oversee the assessment and evaluation of student progress, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and promoting continuous improvement.
- Manage the English department budget, resources, and staffing, optimizing the allocation of funds and personnel.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
Holds a teaching certification or license, showcasing the ability to effectively educate students.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching English at the secondary level, indicating practical classroom expertise.
Demonstrates a proven track record of leadership experience, highlighting ability to manage and lead a team.
