Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The role will involve:

  • Lead and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Managing a team of 8-10 with a hands on approach.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial standards within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's objectives.
  • Oversee resource allocation to optimise financial performance and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders and board members.
  • Manage risk and implement effective controls to safeguard assets.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and development.

Desired Candidate Profile

A successful Head of Finance (UAE National) should have:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in financial management within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a finance team effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
