Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Our client is a major global producer of essential materials. They are Headquartered in Asia and have manufacturing operations across the globe including Caucasus / Central Asia.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Human resources will play a critical role in strategy development and growth of the business in Central Asia. The role will also have a functional reporting to the Group CHRO.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring a proactive approach to workforce planning and talent management.
- Lead the organizational culture transformation initiatives, fostering an inclusive and engaging environment that attracts and retains top talent.
- Oversee the design and execution of performance management systems that drive accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across all levels.
- Manage employee relations effectively, addressing concerns and conflicts swiftly to maintain a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, proactively mitigating risks related to HR practices and policies.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, establishing metrics and accountability for creating a more equitable workplace.
- Develop and manage a robust learning and development program that enhances employee skills and supports career advancement.
- Utilize data analytics to inform HR decision-making and improve operational efficiencies within the department.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess workforce trends and develop succession plans that ensure business continuity.
- Act as a strategic partner to other departments, providing HR insights that align with overall business strategies and objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
- At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leaders in manufacuring, showcasing proven expertise in managing diverse teams.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) to validate knowledge and commitment to the field will be an added advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing industries and handling of factory operations workforce is a must.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, with a preference for English and another major language to facilitate global communication.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage HR metrics and trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and relationship-building at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated change management capabilities, with experience in leading transformation initiatives that align with business goals.
- A commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion, evidenced by past initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence and inspire others towards a shared vision and organizational objectives.
