Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Master's degree in Counseling, Theology, Social Work, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
• Holds relevant professional certifications, such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent, showcasing a commitment to ethical practice.
• Demonstrates extensive experience (10+ years) in pastoral care, counseling, or a related field, highlighting expertise and practical experience.
• Prior experience working within a faith-based or non-profit organization is highly preferred, as it highlights cultural alignment.
• Exhibits a deep understanding of diverse cultural and religious perspectives, promoting inclusivity and sensitivity.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Exhibits exceptional leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide a team of professionals.
• Shows proficiency in using relevant technology and software for record-keeping and communication, such as Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Displays a compassionate and patient demeanor, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, and also being able to maintain confidentiality.
